NEW 6 Bass/Bass Section Steel Pan Instrument Set
Our 6 Bass is 4ths & 5ths layout, B1 to E3.
This instrument is used to play bass lines within steel band ensembles.
Placement complies with the UKs Schools Standard Layout so students will be familiar with the placement of notes and can more quickly progress with their steelpan musicianship.
Made in the UK by our highly skilled artisan craftsmen, these pans are made of steel metal material with a high shine black finish. This instrument is made from 6 ‘full length oil drums’ with soft feet insulating the instrument and resting on the ground.
Approx. size of each item: H 65cm, D 59cm; Weight: 15kg
6 bass pans do not have cases and we recommend covering the upper tuned surface with a dry cloth or cardboard resting on the outer rim. Putting any weight on the tuned surface will damage the note and instrument. You can maintain this quality instrument with an annual retune by an experienced Pan Tuner.

Pair of wood & foam sticks of the correct size for this instrument. Varnished beechwood with foam head. (Approx. size: L 30cm x W 6cm. Weight: 120g)
After care, storage and safe use guidance.
